Some simple ways to make speaking activities work.

Before you watch
Think about a successful speaking activity you have done. Why did it work well?

How were the students grouped (pairs, etc)?
How did you set the activity up?
Did you give the students any useful language before the task?

Watch the video and listen to teachers talking about how they set up activities in class.

Reflection
